June 26, 27 & 28, 2008
SPECIFIC REGULATIONS download PDF
This document constitutes an invitation that is being specially addressed to you on the occasion of the 30th Baie-des-Chaleurs Auto Rally, taking place on June 26th, 27th & 28th, 2008. Being the coordinator, I will have the pleasure of working for you and with you during this long weekend. The organization is going to great lengths to ensure that the fame acquired over the years by the rally, is kept intact.
In January 2007, CARS celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Rally Championship. During the ceremony, the special prize for excellence in Canadian automotive sports events organisation given by Pole-Position Magazine, was awarded to North American Rally of the Baie-des-Chaleurs. “The Rallye Baie-des-Chaleurs is not only an event on the North American and Canadian Championship cup calendar for the last 30 years; it is also an event that symbolises the spirit of what automotive racing should be: a show, a difficult event to win and a festive atmosphere. For the media, the spectators and the teams, it is an exceptional event”.
In closing, let me remind you that you will need to make your reservations early because of the high activity of the tourist season during the summer period. (see article 21). Additional information on the region can be found at : www.tourisme-gaspesie.com. You can also visit : www.baiedeschaleurs.ca.
We are looking forward to meeting you, and we wish you a very successful pre-rally preparation.
Sincerely yours!
Marc-André Leblanc
